President of the Dominica Association of Teachers and immediate past 2^nd Vice President of the Caribbean Union of Teachers Mrs. Celia Nicholas was elected unopposed to the Office of First Vice President of the Caribbean Union of Teachers.

She was elected to the post when the CUT held its 36^th Biennial Conference in Georgetown, Guyana from August 5 to 10, 2013.
